U2
Key Arena
Seattle, WA
This concert began as a "sisters trip". It was an early day in February when U2 tickets started going on sale in Seattle. JT 2,3 and 4 decided to try and get tickets. Since I was in Boston at the time, I woke JT2 up in Liberty Lake so we both could get on our computers to score tickets. After HOURS of no luck, Jess calls up the ticketmaster outlet in Fred Meyer and is told there are a few seats left, but could not be reserved over the phone. She gets in her car, while I'm on the phone, to go and get them. While she's driving, I am able to score 3 tickets in the more expensive seats. I say to Jess, let's do it. She says lets wait....Long story short, there's no tickets left at the booth and I lost the seats waiting for her to decide. In my rage, I keep trying and trying....another hour or so later, I SCORE 3 tickets in the cheap seats!
Jessamyn's moral of the story: don't think, just do.
Months later after the ticket fiasco, I arrive in Seattle after spending the weekend in Minneapolis with Steve's family for Passover.
I meet my sisters (and mother who decided to "rain on our parade" of a "sister's trip") at the Rock Botton Brewery...
Drinks before the show.
..after our drinks we begin walking to the Key Arena for the big show!

At the Key Arena...I'm on the phone because Jess was drunk dialing EVERYONE in her phonebook. I think I'm talking to Darek or maybe Jacko? I'm not sure...

...after another beer, compliments of mom, we head to our seats. We had great seats in the balcony that were dead center of the stage.

The concert was AMAZING! They played some new songs and some oldies! We were singing to EVERY song they played. If you get the chance to go and see U2, definitely go.
All in all it was a quick, but fun trip. After the concert we went to our hotel to "nap" for a few hours before catching our flight home. Jess had to work the next day, but ended up getting "sick" (I think you all can guess from what) and puked all over the Seatac Airport as well as on the drive home. She didn't end up making it to work...
I was able to spend the day at home before I departed back to NYC.
