Claudia invited Steve, Drew, and I along with her friends CJ and Tanya to the first Red Sox-Yankees game at Yankee Stadium. The pitching match was between Beckett and Randy Johnson (or the Big Unit).

The first inning wasn't the best start for the Sox, so Claudia (avid Yanks fan) and Drew (just being Drew, to put it politely) felt the need to celebrate the Yankees lead in front of Steve and I....(Steve and I got our sweet revenge in the end with the final score).
The game was a blast. We had rounds of beer (served in plastic bottles) and munched on soft pretzles, hotdogs and cracker jacks (a first for Ewan). Ballpark food. Awesome seats. Great company.

As the innings passed, we saw the great Red Sox players up to bat. Here's Manny (Left) and Big Papi (Right)!

Well, as you can see from the scoreboard, the game was a blow out. By the bottom of the 5th, the Sox were up 10-2.
We didn't stay much longer because it was getting cold and windy.

We decided to leave and head back to our neck of the woods. We hopped in a "Taxi" that fit all 5 of us. It was a bit cramped, but we managed. It was the perfect opportunity for a photo-op!
Drew was the lucky one who sat in the front seat.
We made it to Becky's and Chris Price met up with us. There we had a bite to eat and watched the rest of the game. Final score: 14-3 Red Sox!
