Barca really is great - its the home to some of the great works of art and architecture, and in exploring the city you can understand why it was an inspiration to those who lived there.

One of Barcelona's most famous residents was Antoni Gaudi, an architect with more than a slight artistic flair. I could tell you more about him, but it would be easier if you just clicked here. While the work was beautiful, I would have to say I was more impressed with how functional even the most ridiculous looking pieces were.
Below are a few pictures from one of the apartment buildings he designed, Casa Batllo.
This is another of his apartment buildings. Cool eh?
Following the Gaudi fun, we headed off for dinner Goliard, a restaurant owned by the friends of one of Jaren's co-workers. The place was out in the 'burbs, so when had a nice brisk walk through the city on our way.
The meal was wonderful, and from here we'll just let the food speak for itself.
